New Zealand opener Colin Munro scored unbeaten 109 off just 58 runs in Rajkot and powered his side to 196/2 in the second T20I against India. The left-hander smashed hundred off 54 balls and hit as many as seven sixes and seven fours during his aggressive knock.
Opting to bat first, Kane Williamson’s side started well and were aggressive from the word go. The right-left batting combination of Martin Guptill and Munro piled up 105 for the first wicket before Guptill gave an easy catch to Hardik Pandya off Yuzvendra Chahal.
Later, captain Williamson became the victim of debutant and his SRH teammate Mohammed Siraj to give the fast bowler his first international wicket. While Munro was absolutely brilliant, he also had luck on his side as he was dropped twice and survived a run-out chance. The opener made most of the three chances and went on to become only the fourth batsman to have hit two T20I hundreds.

For India, bowlers leaked runs but seamers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah were impressive. Kumar returned with figures of 0/29 in his allotted four overs while Bumrah completed his four overs at an economy rate of 5.75 after giving 23 runs. New Zealand ended their innings at 196/2.
